We may not have In-N-Out Burger franchises here in Central Florida, but that won’t stop us from poking fun at them when they do something silly. Case in point:
Yes, that is small Houston burger joint Underbelly responding to a cease and desist order that they received from In-N-Out Burger corporate lawyers. Apparently, In-N-Out Burger was so threatened by the competition of a “mom and pop” restaurant using some variation of the term “double double,” they got their lawyers involved. Underbelly, in my opinion, responded with the appropriate humor and handled the situation well. Hats (or hamburger buns) off to them.
